OnlyFans rules for agencies
What OnlyFans, Fansly and Maloum actually say about account ownership, passwords, helpers in the chat and money, quoted word for word with the section, the version date and a link. Last checked 28 October 2026.
How we rank: 16 criteria with published weights, scored only from what each agency publishes on its own website or in a public register. The quote, the link and the date sit beside every score; anything not published scores 0. No agency pays to be listed or for its position. Methodology
Short answers
Short answers first, with the exact passage behind each one further down this page. This is a reading of the platform texts, not legal advice.
Can an agency have my password?
Neither OnlyFans nor Fansly gives agencies a password role: OnlyFans holds you responsible for “all use of your account” and lists compromised passwords among things it is not responsible for. Fansly offers Management Sessions to share access “without giving out your login credentials”.

Who owns the account?
You do. OnlyFans says its relationship is with the creator, not with any third party, and rights under its terms cannot be transferred. Maloum calls the creator account “personal, non-transferable”.

What happens when I leave an agency?
The platforms do not regulate your agency contract; your contract does. On the platform side: delete the agency’s sessions and reset 2FA if codes were ever shared. Only 13 of 29 agencies we reviewed publish a notice period.

Can someone else chat on my account?
Yes, within limits. OnlyFans allows help with operating the account but keeps you legally responsible. Maloum allows helpers under your control and requires disclosure in the chat that third parties or AI may be involved.

Who owns the account
OnlyFans contracts with the creator. Help from someone else does not move the responsibility, and rights under the terms cannot be passed on.
You are legally responsible for all Content you Upload. If you are a Creator and someone else assists you with the operation of your Creator account, this does not affect your legal responsibility. Our relationship is with you, and not with any third-party, and you will be legally responsible for ensuring that all Content posted and all use of your account complies with the Terms of Service.
You cannot transfer, assign, or subcontract your rights or obligations under any agreement with us.
The Creator Account is a personal, non-transferable account that is set up and managed by the Creator.
Passwords and access
OnlyFans publishes no agency or manager role in its Terms of Use. Fansly has one: Management Sessions, with permissions the creator picks and payouts locked.
Any lost, stolen, or compromised User accounts, passwords, email accounts, or any resulting unauthorised activities or resulting unauthorised payments or withdrawals of funds.
It’s an easy and secure way to share access without giving out your login credentials.
You’ll see plenty of options, but sensitive areas like payouts and account closure are always restricted.
Each link is single-use and tied to the permissions you set.
By creating a Management session, you acknowledge that you are responsible for everything someone does using your management session.
When the work ends
The platforms do not regulate the agency contract; notice, post-exit commission and handover are in the agreement you sign. What the platform texts do say is about access:
Make sure to clear out any sessions once your manager no longer needs access.
Remove and reset your 2FA if you’ve ever shared your codes.
What agencies themselves publish about leaving: exit report 2026.
Helpers in the chat, and AI
Maloum is the most explicit: helpers are allowed, under the creator’s control, and the chat must say that third parties or AI may be involved. A de facto handover of the account is not allowed.
The Creator is entitled to engage third parties as supporting service providers to assist the Creator in the use, administration, and operational management of the Creator Account.
These third parties are attributable to the Creator and act exclusively on the Creator’s behalf, under the Creator’s direction, and under the Creator’s ongoing supervision.
The Creator is obligated to disclose transparently and unambiguously that third parties or AI may be involved in the current chat.
Furthermore, any use that amounts to a complete or de facto transfer of the Creator account to third parties, occurs outside the Creator’s control, or violates these Terms of Use, applicable law, or MALOUM’s Community Guidelines is prohibited.
AI Generated content must comply with our Terms of Service and must be clearly and conspicuously captioned as AI Generated Content with a signifier such as #ai, or #AIGenerated.
Money: platform share and payouts to agencies
The platform share decides what “net” means in an agency contract. Maloum also allows payouts to an agency, but only with the creator’s express consent.
Our Fee is calculated as 20% of the total Fan Payment and will be deducted from each Fan Payment.
By default, the Creator’s commission entitlement amounts to 80% of the monthly creator revenue generated.
The Provider permits payments to be made to third parties, such as agencies or the Creator’s managers, provided the Creator has given their express consent.
Sending fans elsewhere, and recruiting on the platform
This applies in particular to the sharing of links, usernames, contact information, or other references intended to direct users to external communication channels, websites, platforms, or payment processing systems outside of MALOUM.
Recruiting creators for the purpose of agency, management, or service provision
What this means before you sign
- Keep your password and 2FA. Where the platform has a team tool (Fansly Management Sessions), use it, and delete sessions when the work ends.
- Responsibility stays with you on every platform quoted here, whoever writes the messages.
- On Maloum, set up the chat disclosure before a helper writes the first message.
- Read “net” in a contract as what reaches you after the platform share (OnlyFans: 20% fee; Maloum: 80% creator share by default).
- Check the exit terms before you sign: only 13 of 29 agencies we reviewed publish a notice period, and 8 rule out commission after you leave.
